Kraze Spoil Metros Homecoming
NASHVILLE – As a part of their 20th Anniversary celebration, the Nashville Metros returned to BGA High School where they played as the Tennessee Rhythm for 2 years in 1999-2000. Many retired Metros players, including former United Soccer League’s MVP Pasi Kinturi, where in attendance to cheer on the squad.

Central Florida, however, were set to spoil the Metros celebration. After a strong showing against the Atlanta Blackhawks on Friday, the Kraze scored first when Tomislay Krizanovic crossed a ball into the Metros box and found Jonathan Jackson who put it into the back of the net.

The Metros battled back, however, and tied the game up in the second half. The Metro's lone BGA alumni, Dustin Dawes, knotted the score at 1-1 when he slotted the ball past the Kraze keeper and into the back of the net.

But luck was not on the Metros side Saturday night. The Kraze scored their go ahead goal late in the second half when a clearing header was deflected right to the feet of Kraze forward Aly Hassan, who buried the 25 yard shot.

The Nashville Metros will travel this weekend to take on the New Orleans Jesters and the Mississippi Brilla.
